Nepal Communist Party's 46 lawmakers have moved a motion in the Parliament demanding the legalisation of marijuana cultivation in Nepal. The motion was proposed by Birodh Khatiwada from Makawanpur district, reportedly one of the districts that produce large quantities of marijuana illegally in Nepal. "Marijuana...helps earn foreign currencies and produce medicines," Khatiwada said.
