According to new data from the Federal Reserve, about 49% of Americans aged 18 to 29 live with their parents, up 12 percentage points from 2019. The report attributed the rise to factors including higher housing costs and expensive rents. Meanwhile, 47% of adults in the same age group received financial help from someone outside their household to pay expenses.
