Mistral AI, a four-week-old Paris-based startup with no product, used a seven-page pitch note to raise $113 million in the largest-ever seed funding for Europe. The funding round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and included French billionaire Xavier Niel and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt as investors. The AI-based startup was co-founded by alums from Google's DeepMind and Meta.
