Five baby orangutans have been rescued from a forest in Odisha, following which a probe was ordered, as the critically endangered species is not native to India. "We suspect that they might have been released in the Balasore district forest, which borders West Bengal, by an international wildlife smuggling racket," Forest Minister Ganesh Ram Singhkhuntia said.
