A severe road accident in Haliyal taluk, Uttara Kannada, left five people critically injured after their speeding car lost control and collided head-on with a truck on the Khanapur-Talaguppa highway near Madnalli village. Locals rescued the victims, who were then rushed to the hospital. Police have launched an investigation into the crash and warned against overspeeding and reckless driving.
