Around 5 lakh earthen lamps (diyas) were lit in Varanasi's Gadauli Dham on Saturday to mark the festival of 'Tulsi Vivah'. The ceremonial wedding of goddess Tulsi signifies the end of the monsoon season and the beginning of the wedding season in Hinduism.
