Five patients developed severe eye infections after cataract surgeries at a government hospital in Kuchaman City, Rajasthan. Their condition worsened within 24 hours, following which they were shifted to Jaipur's SMS Hospital for specialised care. A medical board has been formed to monitor treatment as doctors work to protect their eyesight and manage the complications.
