This week, Baja East designer John Targon joined Marc Jacobs in a yet-to-be clarified role--the first major hire under new chief executive Eric Marechalle. The appointment comes at turbulent time for the LVMH-owned brand, which announced the closure of its London store in addition to numerous European locations last month.
