The Odisha government’s administrative departments can now re-engage retired employees for entry-level vacancies without needing Finance Department’s permission, according to a circular. However, if retired employees are engaged in over 50% of the vacancies, then approval would be required. The consolidated monthly remuneration was also revised for the retired employees who would be re-engaged.
