More than 50 researchers and engineers have left Elon Musk's newly rebranded SpaceXAI, after xAI merged into SpaceX, The Information reported. The departures include key leaders across coding, world models, and Grok voice, with the company's core pre-training team shrinking to just a handful of people. Rival firms Meta and Thinking Machines Lab are hiring some of these former employees.
