A 51-year-old patient with advanced colon cancer underwent successful bloodless laparoscopic surgery at SRM Prime Hospital. Led by Dr Senthil Kumar Ravichander, doctors removed the cancer-affected sigmoid colon and upper rectum with just 20 ml blood loss, without transfusion. The patient is recovering well and will continue chemotherapy and follow-up care.
