51-yr-old gymnast Chusovitina reaches vault final, seeks 9th Asian Games medal

Uzbek gymnast Oksana Chusovitina qualified fourth for the vault final at the Asian Games 2026 with a score of 13.266. The 51-year-old made her Asian Games debut in 1994 and has since participated in seven editions and won eight medals. An eight-time Olympian, she won silver at Barcelona 1992 in team event and silver at Beijing 2008 in vault.
