A 52-year-old trekker died after falling into the 50-100 feet deep valley at Malshej Ghat near Pune. Police said a group of 15-20 trekkers from Nashik, who came to the area on Sunday, had plans to trek from Malshej Ghat to Chordara Ghat. Police and trekking groups rushed to the spot and initiated a rescue operation and recovered the body.
