The Communications Ministry has informed the Rajya Sabha that 44.4% of state-run BSNL's mobile network equipment comes from ZTE and another 9% from Huawei. Reliance Jio does not use equipment from these two Chinese vendors in its network, the ministry added. Telecom operators have been asked to carry out a special security audit of their network by an external agency.
