A 55-year-old woman named Hampamma allegedly stole 61 sarees worth ₹91,500 from Maya Silk Sarees in Bengaluru’s Avenue Road area. CCTV footage showed her taking the bundle on September 20. The shop owner, Umed Ram, discovered the theft after reviewing the video but did not report it immediately.
