A 57-year-old executive engineer of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) was allegedly caught by Anti-Corruption Bureau while accepting ₹50 lakh bribe to stop action against a company for illegal construction in Andheri, an official said. The accused was posted at the BMC's K-east ward. A case has been registered under relevant provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
