Six severed heads have been found on a road that links the broadly peaceful Mexican states of Puebla and Tlaxcala. A blanket was left at the scene, with a warning to rival gangs, which was signed by a group called "La Barredora", meaning "the sweeper". The local prosecutor's office said the heads were those of men.
