Six policemen were injured in the US during a seven-hour shooting standoff with a gunman in Philadelphia on Wednesday. The standoff began as the police officers tried to enter a house to serve a narcotics warrant. The suspected gunman, identified as 36-year-old Maurice Hill, later surrendered to the authorities.
