Internet services were temporarily suspended for the next 24 hours in the Udaipur district of Rajasthan on Tuesday after a man named Kanhaiya Lal was beheaded for supporting suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma. Around 600 more police personnel were being sent to the area to maintain law and order. Locals staged protests over the incident, following which shops were closed.
