60.4% Indians have no access to toilets: Report

According to a report by non-profit organisation WaterAid, 60.4% of India's population does not have access to safe and private toilets. The report stated that since 1990, the access to toilets in India has increased by 22.8 percentage points while India ranks seventh out of the eight South Asian nations. Notably, Nepal has seen the most improvement in South Asia.
