A 60-year-old woman in Punjab committed suicide by consuming a poisonous substance, fearing she had contracted COVID-19 infection, police said on Sunday. She feared that she had contracted the virus after suffering from a throat problem. Doctors told her she was healthy and only suffered from a sore throat but she couldn't get rid of her fears, her family said.
