62-year-old undergoes robotic kidney tumour surgery
A 62-year-old Hyderabad man underwent robotic surgery to remove a left kidney tumour at Amor Hospitals. Doctors used the Make in India SSI Mantra Robotic Surgical System. The patient recovered well, was mobilised early and discharged on the third postoperative day. The procedure highlights the growing use of robotic surgery in cancer care.
