66 million-year-old dinosaur-era fish vomit found in Denmark
short by Pravel Jain / on Wednesday, 29 January, 2025
A piece of fossilised vomit, dating back to the time of the dinosaurs, has been discovered in Denmark. Fossil hunter Peter Bennicke found the vomit, believed to be 66 million years old, at Stevns Klint. Bennicke said he came across some fragments, which turned out to be pieces of sea lily, an underwater species related to starfish and sea urchins.
