A 66-year-old retired banker from Gurugram was cheated of ₹35 lakh by his Facebook 'girlfriend', who claimed she was travelling from London to India to meet him. The woman, who called herself Jenny Anderson, allegedly told him she had been detained at Mumbai airport. He gave her ₹13 lakh of his savings, and borrowed another ₹22 lakh to help her.
