Around 67% of unemployed youth in 2023 (1.1 crore) in the country were graduates, a report released by Azim Premji University said on Tuesday. Between 2004 and 2023, approximately 50 lakh graduates were added every year, while number of employed graduates rose by only around 28 lakh annually, the report said, adding, "Graduate employment hasn't kept pace with graduate supply."
