A 6.7 magnitude earthquake hit western Panama on Thursday morning. There was no initial report of damage. The tremor was felt in Herrera, Bocas Del Toro, Veraguas and western Panama, the National Civil Defense agency said. According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred 62 km south-southwest of Boca Chica off the Pacific coast.
