The Punjab and Haryana High Court has directed Punjab Police to ensure safety of life and liberty of 67-year-old Shamsher Singh and 24-year-old Navpreet Kaur, who got married last month in Sangrur. The couple had approached the court after their pictures were circulated online. They claimed their lives are in danger from their families and relatives, their counsel said.
