Guy Frank, a 67-year-old man from US, who was in jail for 20 years for stealing two shirts, has been released after a successful campaign by the Innocence Project New Orleans. His theft was under $500. His sentence was a result of Louisiana's Habitual Offender Law, which enables prosecutors to seek harsher sentences if a defendant has previous convictions.
