A sixth US police officer involved in the arrest of Tyre Nichols, the Black motorist who died three days after being beaten by police following a traffic stop, has been fired. Preston Hemphill "violated multiple departmental policies" including on "personal conduct" and regulations on Taser gun use, authorities said. Five other officers were already fired and charged with Nichols' murder.
