PM Narendra Modi announced that the Centre is helping construct 7,000 homes for those displaced in Manipur's ethnic conflict. "A special package of ₹3,000 crore has been granted," he said, adding that ₹500 crore has been allocated for immediate relief. "The Government of India is making every possible effort to bring life in Manipur back on track," he added.
