A massive 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Russia's Kamchatka region on Saturday, the US Geological Survey confirmed. Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre said hazardous waves were possible along coasts within 300km of the epicentre. This comes months after a powerful 8.8-magnitude earthquake in the region in July had triggered tsunami warnings across the Pacific.
