7 countries now accept UPI payment; govt releases list

Payments through India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) are now accepted in seven countries after its launch in Sri Lanka and Mauritius on Monday. "An instant, one-stop payment interface showcases 'Make in India, Make for the World'," the government wrote. The other countries that accept UPI payments are France, UAE, Bhutan, Singapore and Nepal, government stated.
