7 flights diverted to Delhi following suspected drone movement near Amritsar airport

The movement of multiple suspected drones around operational area of Amritsar International Airport prompted authorities to divert seven flights, including two international ones, to Delhi. The incident occurred around 10 pm on Sunday after drone-like objects were detected near runway area. It triggered an immediate security response, with Punjab Police and other central security agencies alerted.
