7 food standards developed by India adopted at Codex

Seven Codex standards and guidelines developed under India's leadership were adopted at the 49th Codex Alimentarius Commission session in Geneva. The standards cover products like dried coriander seeds, fresh curry leaves, vanilla and large cardamom. The Commission also approved India's proposal to develop a new global standard for cashew kernels.
