Seven Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended by Nadia district police while attempting to return to their country after working in Indian states for approximately four years. According to an official, they had illegally entered India and worked in Mumbai, Delhi, and Gujarat. Jha added that they were "trying to return to Bangladesh with the help of an agent who is absconding".
