As per reports, seven Indian companies have secured permission from US' Food and Drug Administration, to produce sildenafil citrate, the formula used in Viagra, meant for treating erectile dysfunction. Pharmaceutical company Pfizer will lose the patent of its drug Viagra in the US in 2020. The Indian companies are reportedly working towards reducing Viagra's price in US by almost 99%.
