At least seven people, all women, were killed, and over 60 others were hospitalised after an ammonia gas leak at a seafood factory in Tamil Nadu's Tiruvallur district on Sunday, reports said. The incident occurred at the St Peter and Paul Seafood Exports facility in Kannigaipair. Workers and others present at the facility reportedly fainted after inhaling the leaked gas.
