Seven people died and two were seriously injured after a multi-utility vehicle collided head-on with a lorry on NH-52 in Karnataka's Uttara Kannada district. Police said the MUV, carrying tourists from Dharwad, allegedly veered into the opposite lane due to high speed. A case has been registered, and an investigation into the fatal crash is underway.
