Seven students have been arrested for having a scuffle with an Army Major and his fiancée, who claimed they were "assaulted" by Odisha Police when they went to report the incident. Hours before their arrest, police took students to the spot for "scene recreation". Police seized a vehicle, 11 mobile phones, a video and an audio clip from the students.
