A 70-ft statue of Lionel Messi, which swayed in the wind, is being removed in Kolkata. On Monday, cranes and heavy-duty cables were used to bring the statue to the ground. It will be relocated, but the spot is yet to be decided. The statue was conceptualised by ex-TMC MLA Sujit Bose and was unveiled during Messi's trip last year.
