To ease crowding during Ganesh Chaturthi, the Central Railway has announced it will run 72 special trains between Mumbai and Konkan division. "A total of 36 trips have been planned between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Sawantwadi Road from September 5-22," a CR spokesperson said. "Only passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board these...trains," the spokesperson added.
