At least 73 blasphemy-related attacks on minorities were reported in Bangladesh in 2025, as per Human Rights Congress for Bangladesh Minorities (HRCBM) report. Blasphemy allegations often escalated into police action, mob violence and collective punishment of Hindu communities. Out of the documented incidents, most named in the cases were Hindus, including minors aged 15-17, stated report.
