7.4-magnitude earthquake hits Taiwan, tsunami warnings issued for multiple countries

A massive earthquake, with a magnitude of 7.4 according to the USGS, struck Taiwan on Wednesday morning. The earthquake prompted tsunami warnings for multiple countries including Taiwan, Japan and the Philippines. Japan's Meteorological Agency issued a warning for tsunami waves as high as three metres (nearly 10 feet) for remote Japanese islands in the region.
