A new TeamLease Edtech report has found that nearly 75% of Indian higher education institutions fail to meet industry needs, exposing a sharp employability gap. Only 16.67% institutions achieve high placement rates within six months. Poor curriculum alignment, weak industry links, limited internships and underdeveloped alumni networks continue to leave many graduates job-unprepared.
