The government is ready with an ordinance to overturn the Central Information Commission order that brought six major political parties under RTI, stating existing laws allow "adequate transparency" in their financial matters. It proposes to amend the RTI Act 2005 to exclude any political party from the definition of public authority and dismissal of any litigation related to this matter.
