As many as 7,190 Bharatnatyam dancers set a world record for the maximum number of people performing the classical dance form in Tamil Nadu's Chidambaram Nataraja Temple on Sunday. The event was inaugurated by Bharatanatyam dancer Padma Subrahmanyam. Earlier, the record was held by 4,525 dancers who performed the dance form in Chennai in 2017.
