At least eight people died and three went missing after getting drowned in the Banas River in Rajasthan's Tonk on Tuesday. The incident happened around 2 pm when the youths who arrived from Jaipur entered the river to take a bath. The locals informed the police after hearing their screams, following which the authorities conducted a rescue operation.
