8 Indian, US firms form $1-bn fund for India's deep-tech startups

Accel, Blume Ventures, Celesta Capital, Gaja Capital, Ideaspring Capital, Premji Invest, Tenacity Ventures, and Venture Catalysts have allied to back India's deep-tech startups. The alliance named 'India Deep Tech Investment Alliance' will invest $1 billion over next 10 years. This follows Centre's approval of $11 billion Research, Development and Innovation scheme announced at this year's Budget.
