8 trekkers stuck on Uttarakhand's Kedartal trek after massive avalanche, rescue op launched

Eight people, including seven trekkers from West Bengal and a local guide, were stranded on Uttarakhand's Kedartal trek after an avalanche blocked the route. Teams from the National Disaster Response Force, State Disaster Response Force and Forest Department have launched a rescue operation. A group of 13 people had gone on trek, out of which four have been found safe.
