8-year-old dies as school balcony collapses in Sambhal

An 8 year old boy, Naisam, died and two students, Saif Ali and Shaidana, were injured after a school balcony collapsed during an Independence Day celebration in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. Several children had climbed onto the balcony to watch the function when the concrete structure gave way. The injured students were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
